Running is not all about perspiration. It is also about looking good on a racecourse or on the treadmill. Why? Because looking good makes you feel good and this way makes you improve finishing time and reach the victory line.

It is also an item of environment. Depending on the season, apparel should respect the weather forecast. You should look for items that are light and that provide freedom of movement and also comfort. You have to feel comfortable if you dare to submit yourself to a hard race. Also, the material should be sturdy; desirable is Lycra during wintertime and for summer you might want to try mesh side panels.

Think of the color. Color is a very important (indeed, not vital) factor for clothing choices. Your color will depict your personality.

Sports look best in monochromatic items. It emphasizes their confidence by choosing an apparently non-talkative color. Sports wearing white, black or grey show no fear. They show power, modesty, and victory. Also, the sweatband should match the outfit. If you are making a statement, then make it wisely .The particular color is up to the individual. However, an individual’s color choice gives a hint about whether he/ she will win or not. Red, maroon or rust indicate the desire for superstardom. Green is always the color of nature; therefore those wearing green are obviously concerned with health.

They tend to run in the middle or at the end of the pack. Brown is for wellbeing and those wearing it are looking to satisfy that particular interest. They start slow and they finish somewhere in the middle of the pack. Purple, pink or blue expresses fun and no concern for the time. Those wearing one of these colors usually get to have a little chat while running. And the yellow team is a total surprise. You never know if the yellow runner will be the first to hit the finish line or if he will find himself somewhere in the pack with no concern for the time or speed

If you do not what you want, try going to a fabric store and make your own. If you can not find the fabric you can cut something made of fabric that you like and that the use of fabric. If nylon fabric is cut, you may have to sew the edges to prevent fraying. As you can see, there is little to them. It's basically a square or rectangle fabric that is folded in half with the internal sense of good length. Sew the long edge together to tube and turn upside down. Then, after cutting the pipe to the right length to go around your chest by an inch seam, sew bits together to make headbands. Turn it right side again, that the seal is inside and that's all.
