Sports Footwear in Our Daily Lives

The All-American State of Mind

Even though America has got a lot of different businesses, which involve lots of businessmen, employees, and consumers, people’s striving for freedom, even in terms of clothing and footwear remained the same as it has been when the first pilgrims were traveling to the “Great New Land.”

Such things, like Nike Air Force One shoes have penetrated lives of people in America. This is highly comfortable footwear, initially designed for basketball, and in the end (like any other useful thing) became widely available like sports/casual footwear. Nike shoes have always been popular not only among athletes, but they also quickly gained wide acknowledgement among usual consumers that either like to attend sport events, or don’t have to do with sports anything at all. Nike sportswear and footwear are in general very popular in urban fashion. Not only young people wear this brand’s wear, but older people do as well, since they have recognized the quality and comfort of this brand’s production.

There are also other sports brands that have shown diligence and quality throughout the years. For example, there are Puma shoes that are produced by German company Puma, which production is widely used in all the different sports worldwide, such as soccer, football, basketball, cricket, track and field athletics, and many other sports. But even though Puma’s production has had certain influence on urban fashion, it didn’t take root in people’s lives, like Nike did. The thing is that Puma shoes or sportswear has remained just sportswear and sports footwear and nothing more.

However, the talk is about freedom of clothing in America. Most people don’t like wearing business suits and other stuff like that. They start to feel this strange spirit of rebel and often start to rise against the rules at their workplaces. They either get fired, or get the opportunity to wear their favorite Nike shoes, instead of those annoying patent-leather shoes. Of course, there are cases when people are obliged to wear official business suits due to their working positions. But there are much less usual working people that those at privileged positions who actually control the actions of others.

Sports footwear, like Nike Air Force One shoes are not only meant to make athletes feel comfortable during their sport occupations, they are also meant for people that can’t stand this official system that intends to dictate them even such things like the clothes and shoes you wear.

This is, probably the secret of popularity of Nike shoes, and other sports shoes that have established their role in our daily lives. This is not just about sports and comfort, this is about freedom to wear things you like to wear.
